From now until May 31, 2008, American AAdvantage members can take advantage of an award sale to Tahiti. For 30,000 AAdvantage miles, members can fly roundtrip in coach between New York (JFK) and Papeete, French Polynesia (Tahiti). Connecting travel on American Airlines flights is not included.

Award travel is only valid on Air Tahiti Nui’s same-plane service between New York and Papeete. Normally 75,000 miles, the award is discounted 60 percent. Deals like this don’t come along very often so if you have the miles and can take the time to relax on the pristine Tahitian beaches and enjoy the turquoise lagoons, you have until the end of May to travel. You must call reservations at (800) 882-8880 to get this special award. Award seats are limited so book early.
