Wyndham (Not Trip) Rewards

Wyndham (Not Trip) Rewards

We mentioned last month that TripRewards will be changing its name to Wyndham Rewards beginning in May. We now have additional information about the transition. TripRewards members will automatically be registered in the new Wyndham Rewards program and your membership number will remain the same. Many active members will receive a new member card by the end of June or you can contact customer service to request a new card. You will keep all of your accumulated points, which will be called Wyndham Rewards points. The point expiration policy will remain the same — unused points will expire four years from the date they are credited to a member’s account and a member must earn or redeem once every 18 months to keep their account active and open. Inactive accounts will be closed and all points will be forfeited. Earning and redeeming rates will remain the same and you will still be able to redeem your points at all hotel brands that currently participate in the TripRewards program. The Web site will be changing to www.wyndhamrewards.com and a new phone number for Wyndham Rewards members will be announced sometime this month to replace 1-800-FOR-TRIP.
