Members of AirTran Airways A+ Rewards can now purchase A+ Rewards credits, extend the expiration of credits or give them to another program member. Members can purchase an A+ Rewards credit for $39 each, plus tax. To extend the expiration of your credits, you’ll pay $29 per credit, plus tax. A+ Rewards credits normally expire one year after their posting date; however, A+ Rewards elite members’ and A+ Rewards Visa cardholders’ credits earned beginning Nov. 13, 2007 expire two years after their posting date.

And if you would like to transfer credits to another A+ Rewards member, it will cost you $19 per credit — but if you are an elite member, there’s no charge.
