Hawaii’s Island Air has launched its own frequent flyer program, called Cloud 9.
The commuter airline, sold off by Aloha Airgroup, will offer a free roundtrip ticket to members who fly 18 times one-way, or nine roundtrips.
Initially, Island Air passengers could earn AlohaPass miles from Aloha Airlines, but that was discontinued last year. Since then, the airline has operated without a program.
To become a member and earn free flights, passengers can sign up online and update accounts on the airline’s Web site. More details are available on Cloud 9 at http://www.islandair.com
