CSA Czech has modified its mileage accrual structure to conform to its new booking-class structure.

Previously, bonuses were earned strictly on class-of-service — a 100-percent bonus for flights in business class, with no bonus for Travel (economy) class, though economy still earned 100 percent of miles flown.

With the introduction of new discounted economy fare classes (S, G, U and W), the structure has been altered. Discounted economy fares now earn 50 percent of mileage flown.

CSA insists the change is beneficial, as it had considered eliminating mileage accrual altogether on inexpensive seats.
