As some of you might know, the original CarMiles program, which awarded 5,000 to 15,000 bonus miles with Delta, Northwest, TWA, America West, Alaska and US Airways when you bought a new or used vehicle, ended back on Feb. 28. But, we hear from our favorite car salesman that another attempt to award you miles is nearing completion. As far as we understand, Alaska, American, America West, Continental, Delta and Northwest have signed on. While it’s likely to take some time to get a dealer in every city signed up, you may want to start checking out dealermiles.com every time you think you need a new or used car. Our spy also informs us that, unlike just awarding miles for a car sale, there just might be something from the service department. Watch out Jiffy Lube.
