If our calculations are correct, the recent news that US Airways just gave member Judith Luck of Hanover, VA a 100,000-mile bonus for being the one millionth subscriber to their E-Statement program means that Dividend Miles has given over 500 million miles away in bonuses to attract online customers. That’s a healthy bunch of miles.

And the total keeps growing, as Dividend Miles continues to offer a one-time bonus of 500 miles to members who choose to receive statements online (the offer is good through September). For instance, members who received a June 2001 E-Statement are eligible for a special award that allows them to fly between Chicago O’Hare and anywhere in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas or the Caribbean for only 15,000 miles. A Saturday-night stay is required (similar to its off-peak awards) and capacity controls are in effect. The good news beyond saving a few miles is that service fees are being waived for this award.
