The phasing in of the code-sharing agreement between Hawaiian and America West Airlines has taken off just in time for Hawaiian’s flight expansion into Arizona.
The Aloha State carrier’s daily non-stop flights between Honolulu and Phoenix, which began Oct. 11, are now available for booking through America West. This agreement extends to connecting flights in the islands.
Island residents can work the agreement the other way to book travel to cities served by America West on the U.S. Mainland and in Mexico.
This agreement also allows members of the America West FlightFund and HawaiianMiles programs to earn miles and use credits for awards across the carriers’ respective routes.
