Continental has developed and launched a new program aimed at the companies whose travel budgets finance the frequent flyer accounts of so many business travelers. Called Businessbonus, this new incentive program awards points to companies who book their corporate travel using the Continental Airlines Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) card. Businessbonus points can be redeemed for free travel, first-class upgrades and more. For example, companies can earn up to 100 Businessbonus points for every $1,000 in qualifying purchases charged for travel on the Continental UATP card.

Twenty Continental currency coupons can be redeemed for as few as 300 points. It costs 1,200 points for a one-year Presidents Club membership and one roundtrip ticket to Europe can be purchased for 3,200 points. Other rewards include first-class upgrades, Silver OnePass Elite status and certificates valid for travel throughout the continental United States, to Hawaii and to Latin America.

Businessbonus points do not expire and are earned in addition to other award program benefits such as OnePass mileage.
