Flyers on Air Canada can expect onboard Internet connections on some transborder flights starting next spring. The service will be similar to the one provided by Aircell for American, Delta and Virgin America. The cost is also the same, $12.95 for select flights to the west coast U.S. Currently, there is no air-to-ground network for the service to be available in Canada. Air Canada plans to extend the system throughout its markets as Aircell’s coverage expands.
