Virgin America and Hawaiian Airlines are now reciprocal redemption partners. Virgin America Elevate members can redeem their points for flights to Hawaii on Hawaiian Airlines, starting at 20,000 points.

For example, a roundtrip flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu is 20,000 points in coach and 50,000 points in first but the price jumps to 35,000 points in coach and 80,000 points in first when flying to or from New York. Award flights on Hawaiian Airlines cannot be booked online and you will need to call the Virgin America service center to make reservations.

Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles members can redeem miles for flights on all Virgin America routes, starting at 20,000 miles for a coach ticket less than 750 miles. Flights between 750 and 1,750 miles long are 30,000 miles in coach and flights over 1,750 will require 40,000 miles.
