Red Lion R&R Club members can now spend their points for stays at over 30 Destination Hotels and Resorts properties in the U.S. The redemptions start at 30,000 points and include hotels such as the Valley River Inn in Eugene, Ore. and The Stonebridge Inn in Snowmass, Colo. near the Snowmass and Aspen ski slopes, among nine hotels in this award category. The next level is 40,000 points and includes The Woodmark in Kirkland, Wash., among others such as the Resort at Squaw Creek near Lake Tahoe. And the top-level redemption is 50,000 points and includes the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix among eight properties. Bottom line: Most of the properties fall into the 40,000 points range for a free night–a free night at any Red Lion Hotel is 10,000 points. Red Lion also partners with Preferred Hotels for free award nights starting at 35,000 points and going up to 85,000 points. This new partnership is good news for members because it’s adding more aspirational properties into the free award night mix for members in areas they might choose to go for vacation.
