SAS EuroBonus recently conducted a poll about points validity through its website asking, “If you had the following options, what would you prefer?” Fifty-nine percent answered, “No expire if you are an active member within a 12 month’s period.” Twenty-four percent answered, “As is, expire after five years.” And 15 percent said, “My points never expire–I use mine before they expire” and only three percent said, “Extend points for a fee.”
