Aeroplan has recently introduced an enormous suite of new reward opportunities: Your Style Rewards. There are over 120 Your Style Awards in all, which represents the single largest one-time addition to the Aeroplan catalog. The rewards are divided into nine categories: action, culture, family & kids, for love, gourmet, house & home, pampering, speed, and sports and recreation.
Though we can’t list them all here ( to see the complete list, go to http://www.aeroplan.com ), here are some samples of the types of awards included in this selection.
– Formula 440 Racecar Challenge — For 11,000 miles, members will get driving tips from an expert then put the lesson to task, tearing off two sets of eight timed laps on a racetrack located in Tsawwassen, British Columbia.
– Clipper Cruise — Rid yourself of capacity controls and blackout dates, and take to the water. For 114,000 miles, a member and a guest can enjoy a two-day cruise onboard the Clipper from Victoria, British Columbia down to Seattle. Once you arrive in Seattle, take time to enjoy the $50 dinner voucher at Von’s Grand City Cafe before retiring for the night at the Roosevelt Hotel.
Multimillion-milers, for 5.1 million miles, you and three of your closest friends will be whisked away on a private jet to Fox Harbor for an incredible golfing getaway. Throughout the entire four-day, three-night trip, your group will be pampered with fabulous meals specially prepared by an executive chef. Following your daily round of golf on some world-class golf courses, you can relax with a massage or take out the day’s frustrations with some skeet or trap shooting. At the end of each very full day, each person can retire to his/her own executive suite. This reward must be booked 45 days in advance, and private jet service is available from Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal or Quebec City.
The Your Style Rewards are part of a pilot program that runs through Oct. 31, so if you see something you like, book it now. If enough members show interest in the program, Aeroplan has hinted that it may be extended.
