We haven’t heard much from Choice Hotels lately, though their 5,000 properties under the Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn, MainStay Suites, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brands seem to be on nearly every street corner.
But to kick off spring, The Maryland-based chain is offering triple miles to members of American AAdvantage, Delta SkyMiles, Northwest WorldPerks, Southwest Rapid Rewards, United Mileage Plus and US Airways Dividend Miles.
Members will earn 750 miles per stay instead of the standard 250 miles at Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn and MainStay Suites brand hotels in the United States and Caribbean. Guests at Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn will earn 450 miles per stay instead of the standard 150 miles.
The promotion, which ends April 30, coincides neatly with the addition of Southwest Airlines as a partner — a natural pairing, given the discount orientation of both companies.
“Southwest defines value for millions of air travelers,” said Wayne Wielgus, senior vice president, marketing, for Choice Hotels. “We are delighted to add to that value.”
Members of Rapid Rewards will receive 1.5 credits instead of the usual 0.5 credits for stays at all brands.
To receive triple miles, guests need only to stay at a qualifying rate and provide their frequent flyer number upon check-in. Reservations are available at http://www.choicehotels.com or by calling 1-800-4CHOICE.
