If you have been planning to use your AAdvantage miles for travel from Los Angeles to Paris or Chicago to Rome, you may find yourself left in the lurch at the outset of winter. American Airlines is zapping its nonstop service on these two routes as of Nov. 1. AAdvantage’s European-bound flyers will still be able to get to Paris from Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, New York/JFK, San Jose and Miami. Getting to Rome, however, will be a little more tricky, requiring a connection in London with British Airways, in Brussels with Sabena or in Zurich with Swissair.
