United MileagePlus members can forget their membership number when the United MileagePlus and Continental OnePass programs migrate to a single technology platform. The new system will use an eight-character alphanumeric account number, which is what OnePass has been using. Members who have only a OnePass account number can continue to use their number, which will become their permanent MileagePlus account number. If you only have a MileagePlus account, you will automatically be assigned a new alphanumeric account number at the end of the first quarter 2012. If you have a membership number in both programs, be sure to link your accounts if you haven’t already done so to ensure your OnePass number will become your MileagePlus number after the technology integration is complete.
