More airlines are allowing passengers to choose electronic boarding passes instead of paper. Travelers on United Airlines can now check-in with their mobile device. At select airports you can have an electronic boarding pass sent to your mobile device that can be used to get through security and board the plane. To check in for any domestic flight in the U.S. within 24 hours of departure, visit http://www.mobile.united.com — If you are traveling though Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York LaGuardia, San Francisco or Washington Dulles, you can choose to receive your boarding pass via email. Otherwise you will need to visit a United EasyCheck-in kiosk at the airport to print your boarding pass.

United reports that the mobile boarding pass option will be expanded to other airports nationwide soon.
