ATA Airlines Cuts Mexico, Midway, and ?

ATA Airlines’ scheduled service to Chicago Midway will end on April 14, 2008 and service to Mexico will cease on June 7, 2008, according to a Travel Weekly report. And that’s not all, the Honolulu Star-Bulletin reported that ATA is considering dropping Hawaii due to rising fuel costs. ATA has daily departures to Hawaii from Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Oakland. The loss of these markets will not only affect ATA Airlines customers, but also Southwest Rapid Rewards members who have been enjoying award trips through the frequent flyer partnership with ATA.
