Hilton HHonors was rated the world’s “most preferred” hotel frequent guest program in the fourth annual Hotel SCORES worldwide study conducted by Phoenix Travel, Leisure & Entertainment. Over 11,000 frequent guest program members responded. Hilton received 16.1 percent of votes to top the list of 31 programs. InterContinental Hotels Group Priority Club Rewards came in second with 12.6 percent and Marriott Rewards came in third with 11.5 percent. The tracking study measures awareness, membership, usage and preference of 14 domestic frequent guest programs and 17 European and Asia-Pacific based programs. Of note is that respondents in the U.S. put Hilton and Marriott on almost equal footing — 23 percent for Hilton and 22 percent for Marriott. Priority Club Rewards was tops in the U.K. with 36 percent. The highest percentage was for Accor Mauvango in France at 50 percent.
