A recent FlyerTalk thread mused over what a combined United and Continental airline should be called. Here are some of our favorites:

TedCon, UniCon, UniCo, ConTed, Cons United, UCon, COLUN Air, DisCONTenTED, CONsensUAL, Bankruptcy Airlines (BA), UniConti, UN-COntented or UACO (pronounced “wacko”).

And this suggestion: Keep United as the name, then all frequent flyers who join from Continental will be referred to as Ex-COns.

And the best suggestion with a corresponding catch phrase: UnContinent “It’s Time to Go.”
