Marriott Rewards members may soon be able to earn and redeem points at Gaylord Hotels. Marriott Hotels has signed an agreement to purchase the rights to manage Gaylord’s hotels, which are located in Orlando, Washington D.C., Dallas and Nashville. A fifth hotel in Aurora, Colorado is also in the works. The brand will continue to operate as Gaylord Hotels and the current employees will continue to work at the hotels. Gaylord focuses on providing space for meetings and conventions as well as offering leisure and recreation facilities. Gaylord Hotels has 7,800 rooms that will become available to Marriott Rewards members if the deal is approved by Gaylord shareholders later this summer.
