American AAdvantage has updated its reduced mileage award destinations for Citi AAdvantage cardholders for the first quarter of 2010. The new awards are valid for flights originating in the 48 contiguous states for travel through March 31, 2010.

There are 46 destinations available at the discounted rates, including Washington, D.C. (Dulles); Kansas City, Mo.; Atlanta, Ga.; Key West and Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Austin, Texas and Monterey and Santa Ana, Calif. These awards can only be booked over the phone or through American Airlines ticket offices, which requires a $20 fee. Citi Gold AAdvantage and Citi AAdvantage American Express cardholders can redeem discounted coach awards for 20,000 miles and first/business class awards for 45,000 miles. Citi Select AAdvantage American Express and Citi Platinum Select AAdvantage cardholders can redeem coach awards for 17,500 miles and first/business class awards for 42,500 miles.
