From April 1, 2009, members of Air France/KLM Flying Blue will see a change in their miles. From that date, miles will be valid for 20 months instead of the current 36 months. To extend the validity of your miles you must take an eligible flight with Air France, KLM, Air Europa, Kenya Airways, Aircalin or any SkyTeam partner. If, however, you are an elite Silver, Gold or Platinum member, your Flying Blue elite status will protect your award miles from expiring, as long as you keep your elite level.
