Gulf Air has upgraded their Frequent flyer program site to more closely interact with its most loyal customers. Some of the new online features include the ability for members to nominate family members, claim missing miles and view their account 24 hours a day. A new mileage calculator allows members to research how many miles it will cost them to fly to their chosen destination based on one-way travel. They can also get a snapshot of their travel plans, including flights they have booked but not flown. “Our team has worked for the past one year reviewing the existing Web site and scoping the new one based on customer-testing and feedback. It offers greater functionality, flexibility and ease of use and I am sure our FFP members will find it a more rewarding experience,” says Gulf Air Acting Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales, Danny Barranger.
