EuroBonus Celebrates 15th Anniversary

EuroBonus is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. With over 2.8 million members worldwide, the program is promising to celebrate its 1992 beginning throughout the year with special offers. For example, from April 1 to Dec. 31, 2007, fly SAS and SAS Braathens operated flights throughout the entire network to earn 15,000 extra points after flying 15 one-way flights in business class or Economy Extra. No registration is required for the promotion open to all EuroBonus members.

Other special deals include, from April 1 to June 30, 2007, 15 percent off weekend rates at 15 hotel destinations including Radisson SAS hotels in Reykjavik, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Cologne, Basel, Paris Disney, Brussels, London, Amsterdam and more.

Sixt is offering 1,500 Extra points between April 1 and July 31, 2007, on car rentals for car rentals longer than three days — the normal rate would be 500 Extra points. Sixt car rentals are available in over 85 countries including Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

EuroBonus members can get 50 percent off an award stay night at any Rica hotel in Norway or Sweden. The offer is valid the month of May. Friday through Monday nights will be 5,000 points (normally 10,000) per night and Monday through Friday nights will be 10,000 points (normally 20,000) per night, breakfast is included. Gold members can book this hotel promotion anytime; Silver and basic members can book hotel stays only in conjunction with a bonus trip.
