It turns out that Preferred Guest members can now combine Starpoints with cash for award nights all year long, as Starwood is no longer running its famed Cash and Points offer as a seasonal promotion. Award nights can be purchased at participating hotels using the following redemption structure: US $25 and 1,200 Starpoints per night for Category 1 hotels; US $30 and 1,600 Starpoints per night for Category 2 hotels; US $45 and 2,800 Starpoints per night for Category 3 hotels; US $60 and 4,000 Starpoints per night for Category 4 hotels.
