“Spring” into savings with Marriott’s Spring PointSaver Rewards. From April 1 through June 30, Rewards members can save up to 33 percent off normal point requirements for award stays at select Marriott family hotels.
Cold weather fans looking to delay the approach of flowers and sunshine (hey… it takes all kinds) might appreciate a discount stay at the Residence Inn Anchorage Midtown in Alaska or the Fairfield Inn Bangor in Maine.
Those of us who are what psychiatrists refer to as “sane,” however, are probably more likely to stay in warm weather destinations such as the Renaissance Dallas Hotel or the Courtyard Santo Domingo Downtown in Latin America.
If none of these destinations suits you, don’t fret: There are plenty of participating hotels to choose from (we are dealing with Marriott, after all). Participating Spring PointSaver hotels are located in Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Canada, Hong Kong, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Latin America.
Elite members receive even more benefits, as they can stay at a Category 6 hotel for the same number of points normally required for stay at a Category 5 hotel. In fact, elite members can redeem 115,000 Rewards points for a seven-night stay at participating Category 6 PointSaver hotels. Normally a seven-night stay at a Category 6 property would require 130,000 Rewards points, which translates to a savings of 15,000 points.
There are a few things to remember when redeeming PointSaver Rewards. Advance reservations are required and standard blackout dates do apply. For more information and a list of participating PointSaver hotels visit http://www.marriott.com/rewards.
