Recently, Choice Hotels and Preferred Hotels & Resorts entered into a partnership which allows Choice Privilege members the opportunity to redeem points for free nights at Preferred Hotels & Resorts. Preferred Hotels & Resorts are luxury hotels and resorts found in 22 different destinations with more than 120 distinct properties.

How many points are required for a night of luxury? Well, each Preferred property has different point requirements, and all award nights fall between 24,000 and 50,000 points. For example, Privilege members can enjoy a night of luxury at the Boston Harbor (“r” sound is optional) Hotel for 24,000 points. Members can settle down for an award night at The Lodge at Vail, Colorado for 40,000 points. Or stay in Kohala Coast, Hawaii, at the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows for 50,000 points per night.

As always with the Choice Privileges program, there are no blackout dates. Award nights must be booked 30 days in advance for locations in the U.S. and Canada, and 60 days prior to arrival for all other locations.
