Australia: Qantas Tweaks Point Earning at Hotels

Australia: Qantas Tweaks Point Earning at Hotels

Beginning Sept. 1, Qantas Frequent Flyer members will notice a few changes with regard to earning points outside Australia. Earning at InterContinental Hotels and Resorts will drop from 1,500 to 1,000 points per stay; earning at Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts and Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts will increase from 500 to 600 points per stay.

In addition, starting Oct. 1, Frequent Flyer members will not be able to earn points at Oakford properties in Australia.

Some Oakford properties, however, have undergone significant refurbishments and are now Somerset Serviced Residences. Members can continue to earn points at the eight Somerset properties in Australia.
