Turkish Airlines has extended the life of miles earned in 2000.

Normally, the three-year expiration period would have kicked in on Dec. 31, 2003, but the program opted to extend the expiration date another five months.

May 31 is the new final day to claim award tickets using miles earned in 2000. Award tickets will be valid for one year after the issue date.
