Some members of Lufthansa Miles & More are thrilled (judging by posts of FlyerTalk.com) because they can once again book rail travel on the Miles & More Web site. The ability to book the AirRail options for flight connections has been reinstated after being removed last year. This will save frequent flyers the cost of booking elsewhere and save time — the only real drawback is, where are the miles? Miles & More members can earn miles for taking the Transrapid train between Shanghai International Airport and the Pudong financial district — why can’t they get miles in their own backyard?
