Coming Soon: Starwood’s Triple Up Promotion

…in order to participate in the Triple Up promotion, you must:

  1. Be a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty program
  2. Register for this promotion by 11:59 in the evening Eastern Daylight Time on Sunday, July 17, 2016; and
  3. Stay at a hotel or resort property which is participating in this promotion in accordance with the three aforementioned offers — and this list is subject to change

Double Starpoints will earn an additional two Starpoints per eligible dollar spent on eligible stays, for a total of four Starpoints per dollar spent; and triple Starpoints will earn an additional four Starpoints per eligible dollar spent on eligible stays, for a total of six Starpoints per dollar spent. Elite-level extra Starpoints earnings and other bonuses will not be doubled or tripled, as only the base two-Starpoints-per-dollar earnings are doubled or tripled.

Terms and Conditions

These offers operate concurrently with other Starpoints promotions; however, each offer will award bonus Starpoints independently of each other.

An eligible stay is defined as two or more consecutive nights paying an eligible rate in the same hotel or resort property — regardless of the number of times you check in or check out — and posting to your Starwood Preferred Guest account. An eligible night is defined as at least one night paying an eligible rate during the promotion period; and an eligible rate is any rate which is eligible to earn Starpoints in the Starwood Preferred Guest program — both as defined under Section 2.1 of the terms and conditions of the Starwood Preferred Guest frequent guest loyalty program.

Note that certain prepaid room reservations — such as when the reservation is booked through a third party, including but not limited to travelocity.com, expedia.com, orbitz.com and delta.com — are not considered eligible rates and do not earn Starpoints or qualify for promotional earnings. Stays must be booked through any Starpoints-eligible channel — which includes a travel professional who books through those channels — or the global distribution system.

Other terms and conditions apply.

“Since the current SPG promo ends April 30th and the new one starts May 9th my stays will go to Hyatt which has a great promo till June 30th”, posted InsideFlyer member Thomask. “SPG has been doing this for years. Always leave a long gap between promos. It is good for us that collect in several programs.”
