You can get instant “Loved” elite status with Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (or SLH for short) was started in 1989 and offers over 500 luxury independent properties around the world. Their website says they receive thousands of applications by hotels each year, but only 5% are accepted. The properties are all small and have unique characteristics that set them apart.

Their loyalty program is called “The Club” and has three tiers. They are –

Honoured Member

General members, or “Special Members” as they are called, are at the introductory level that only lasts one stay. Even during the first stay, if you signed up to be a member in advance a complimentary room upgrade may be offered, based on availability.

After your first stay, you get bumped up to the second tier, (Loved Member) which adds daily complimentary breakfast for two, and late check-out based on availability.

If you have five more stays, you’ll reach The Club’s top tier, (Honoured Member) which adds early check-in based on availability. Once you reach the Honoured Member tier, you’ll get a voucher code good for a free night at any SLH hotel. Then, for every 5 stays you complete (in at least 2 hotels) you’ll earn a further complimentary night.

Instead of having to stay one night to become a Loved Member, you can simply skip the first step and go instantly to Loved Member status.
