– Delta was the first airline to offer flight booking via Facebook on Aug. 12, 2010 and 12 agents staff @DeltaAssist on Twitter.
– Facebook is the most trafficked site on inflight WiFi.
– Twenty-six airlines account for 80 percent of tweets and over 186 airlines are on Twitter with only 45 percent active with their Twitter account.
KLM was the first airline to join Foursquare in November 2010.
– Having the “Shine Seeker” badge on Foursquare gets you a $50 discount from Virgin Australia.
– United stock dipped 10 percent after “United Breaks Guitars” went live on YouTube and there have been over 10 million views of the video (10,945,527 at press time).
