Continental Airlines is the last of the legacy carriers to announce its plans for providing in-flight Internet service to passengers. Beginning in the second quarter of 2010, Continental will offer Gogo Inflight Internet service on all 21 of its Boeing 757-300 aircraft. Passengers will be able to use the WiFi service on WiFi-enabled laptops and handheld devices on domestic routes after the aircraft reaches 10,000 feet. On flights up to 1.5 hours, the cost to use the service will be $4.95. On flights between 1.5 to 3 hours the service will cost $9.95 and for a flight over three hours the cost will be $12.95. Gogo also offers a 24-hour pass for $12.95 and a 30-day pass for $49.95.
