Hyatt Gold Passport has introduced a new program for meeting and event planners who can now earn up to 50,000 bonus points per meeting, group or banquet event held at any Hyatt hotel and resort worldwide. Planners will earn one point per eligible dollar spent on qualifying meetings that include 10 or more guestrooms or a banquet event. Meeting planners can redeem points for award stays or use the points for a credit that can be used at a future meeting event. Redeem 15,000 points for a $200 credit, up to 75,000 points for a $1,000 event credit. Meeting planners can also reach elite-level tiers with the program. Members will be given Platinum membership after completing three qualifying meetings or events in one calendar year and Diamond membership after 10 qualifying meetings or events. The planner does not need to attend the actual meeting or event to receive Planner Rewards benefits.
