The award-winning Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan is making a bid for Canadian frequent flyers.

The Seattle-based carrier is already the primary service-provider between Vancouver and the U.S., and also provides additional service from Calgary, Edmonton, Kamloops, Kelowna, and Victoria.

Interested Canadians can enroll in the Mileage Plan program online at http://www.alaskaair.com and will receive 2,500 bonus miles in addition to the 500 miles they would normally receive for enrolling.

The offer is good through the end of the year.
