Who would have thought flyers would need another incentive to take award planning into their own hands? Northwest WorldPerks has extended its 1,000-mile discount for online award booking through Dec. 31 — just in time for the peak domestic ticket rates. Domestic tickets for June, July and August will be 24,000 miles. The discount is applied immediately upon purchase of award travel and will be reflected in the online booking process and in member’s account balances.

WorldPerks’ members can also redeem award travel online for KLM and Continental flights with WorldPerks Award Travel Reservations.
