Travelocity Unveils Hotel Perks

Internet travel service Travelocity announced Oct. 15th the introduction of “Travelocity Preferred Hotel Perks,” an addition to its 120,000-member loyalty program.

Hotel Perks offers room upgrades and complimentary daily breakfasts to Preferred members at the following designated hotels: Boston’s Elite Suite Hotel and Nine Zero Hotel; Chicago’s Hyatt Regency Chicago and Swissotel Chicago; Dallas’ The Adolphus and Magnolia Hotel; Los Angeles/Anaheim’s Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club and Westcoast Anaheim; New Orleans’ Chateau Sonesta Hotel, Fairmont Hotel and Maison Dupuy; Orlando’s Gaylord Palms Hotel, Hyatt Grand Cypress and Universal’s Portofino Bay Hotel; San Diego’s Loews Coronado Bay Resort and Washington, D.C.’s St. Gregory and Governor’s House Hotel.

The offer is valid for a Travelocity Preferred member and up to one guest, and is limited to one room per stay. Room upgrade is subject to availability and breakfast is for two daily, and may be continental or full service, depending upon the hotel. Simply book online and present your Preferred membership ID at check-in.

To qualify for free membership in the Travelocity Preferred Program, a member must make five or more bookings in a 12-month period. To gain “Preferred Elite” status, 10 bookings must be made within a year. For those members who do not have enough bookings within the timeframe to qualify, memberships to the Travelocity Preferred or Preferred Elite program can be purchased for $29 or $79, respectively.
