Star Alliance is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a sweepstakes. The competition is open to all members of Star Alliance member carrier frequent flyer programs who fly on a Star Alliance member airline to an international destination.

There will be 18 winners every month from now until Nov. 30, 2007 and the grand prize winner of the Global Experience of a Lifetime will be announced Dec. 14, 2007. Every month during the promotion, one winner will receive a Monthly Experience prize that includes business class travel and accommodations for two to one of 10 global destinations. Each airline will award 10,000 bonus miles to one member of their frequent flyer program every month and the Star Alliance will also award runners-up with bonus prizes such as Tumi luggage, iPods and bottles of champagne.

The Global Experience winner will receive a round-the-world travel itinerary for two, designed by you and your personal travel consultant, that includes up to 20 nights of travel across five global destinations. All flights will be in first class and the winner will also receive $5,000 spending money.

To participate in the drawing, enter the flight details for each international trip you make with a Star Alliance member carrier between now and Nov. 30, 2007 and answer a few short questions. Every trip is a chance to win and there is no limit to the number of entries as long as you meet the entry criteria (only one entry per international flight). Flights that do not accrue miles are not valid entries. Residents of Japan, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Norway and Austria are not required to purchase a flight to participate and Japan residents do not need to be a member of a frequent flyer program to enter.
