Southwest Airlines has announced that it will start flying to San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 14, 2013. Its initial flight to Puerto Rico will be the first time the airline has ventured outside the United States. Southwest Airlines service will replace flights currently offered by AirTran and the airline will offer three direct flights to/from Orlando and one from Tampa starting at $99 one way.
