Milwaukee Frontier

Milwaukee Frontier

Milwaukee was once a hub for Midwest Airlines, the airline that many associate fondly with chocolate chip cookies. Midwest Airlines was acquired by Republic Airways Holdings and merged with Frontier Airlines in 2010. Since the merger, Milwaukee residents have seen 18 destinations reduced to seven daily departures. The only destinations Frontier flies to from Milwaukee are Denver, Washington, D.C., Orlando and Rhinelander/Oneida County.

The reduction in service left many EarlyReturns members with lots of miles but fewer redemption opportunities. So through Aug. 31, 2012, the program is offering members with a valid Wisconsin address the option to convert all of their EarlyReturns miles into Delta SkyMiles at a 1:1 ratio. It may take up to eight weeks for the miles to be deposited in your SkyMiles account.

Furthermore, EarlyReturns elite members can register for a status match with Delta SkyMiles. Elite Ascent and Summit members can receive Silver Medallion status for 90 days and will be able to keep Silver status for the year if they fly 8,000 Medallion qualifying miles or 10 Medallion qualifying segments.
