The exchange rate is 20,000 Starpoints to 25,000 Sky Pearl kilometers. China Southern Airlines Sky Pearl members who are new to SPG are being offered two special deals when registering by Feb. 29, 2012. Sky Pearl members who join SPG will earn 1,000 bonus miles (kilometers) per stay, up to 3,000 miles (kilometers), for stays through March 31, 2012. Silver and Gold Sky Pearl Club members can earn instant SPG Gold elite status after your first stay at a Starwood hotel by March 31, 2012. You must have had Silver or Gold Sky Pearl status by Sept. 26, 2011 to receive the instant SPG Gold elite.
