A new website has launched that aims to give loyalty program members the option to redeem miles for stock. LoyaltyShares LLC has launched its patent-pending Loyalty Equity Acquisition Program (LEAP) as a way for companies to offer their publicly traded stock as an award redemption option. Any publicly traded company can join and include shares of stock as an award option and members who have miles or points could then redeem their miles or points for stock in that company. The first hotel group to participate is Jameson Inns and Sr. V.P. Business Development of LoyaltyShares LLC, Skip Kitchen, said they are in the process of contacting potential clients.
