Allegiant FFP?

The President of Allegiant Air, Andrew Levy, recently mentioned at a Low-Cost Airlines World Conference, the possibility of introducing a frequent flyer program along with the possibility of international routes such as Mexico and Canada via Las Vegas and Orlando. There’s no timeline set for either event. Regarding the loyalty program, he said that they would look to create a program to encompass more than just how many miles are flown. “We don’t need a loyalty program to get people to buy our air,” Levy stated. “If you’re in Des Moines, Iowa and you want to go to Vegas, you’re going to buy our air. What we want you to do is buy the hotel, the car and maybe one day buy hotels in places that we don’t even fly.”

When we asked Jordan McGee, Director Corporate Communications at Allegiant about their possibly introducing a frequent flyer program, she said, “We are looking at options for a loyalty program, but it’s too premature to have any other details to share at this time.”
