Alaska Airlines is looking to increase Mileage Plan membership in Northern California with its “Join. Fly. Fly Free” promotion. Permanent residents of Northern California who join Mileage Plan for the first time by Oct. 1, 2011 and complete a roundtrip, nonstop flight between Northern California and Hawaii will receive 25,000 bonus miles, enough for a roundtrip domestic Super Saver award ticket.

New Mileage Plan members who fly one roundtrip flight between Northern California and anywhere Alaska flies except Hawaii will receive 12,500 bonus miles. To be eligible, travelers must reside in a zip code that begins with 923, 932 or 934-961. Qualifying flights must originate, end or connect through: Fresno, Mammoth Lakes, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose or Santa Rosa. Members can only earn one bonus through this promotion.
