Delta SkyMiles eliminated its mileage expiration policy this year so now SkyMiles no longer expire. Prior to the change, Delta SkyMiles members had two years to earn or redeem miles before all of the miles in their account would expire.

The expiration policies of United Mileage Plus, US Airways Dividend Miles and American AAdvantage state that miles will expire after 18 months of inactivity.
