Colombian airline, Avianca, and multinational airline, TACA, have announced a combined frequent flyer program. Members of TACA Distancia and Avianca Plus will be welcomed into the new LifeMiles frequent flyer program sometime during the first half of this year. LifeMiles will make all seats available with mileage redemption, with the redemption amounts depending on demand, a fully formed elite status program will be offered and the ability to buy back expired miles will be available among other benefits. All Avianca Plus and Distancia miles will be honored in the new program as well as elite status.
