Bottom line: Members can earn close to 10,000 bonus miles on one flight. For example, a roundtrip flight between Dallas and Amsterdam is around 9,800 miles and members can earn a total of 19,640 miles on one flight between DFW and AMS. The double miles are bonus miles only, which are redeemable miles that do not qualify for elite status.
